Bio: Lisa
has degrees in psychology and computer science.
Prior to starting Buzz Tools, Inc., her interest
in machine embroidery started as a hobby in
the mid 90's while working in the computer
industry as an IBM systems programmer. She
used her knowledge and skills in computers
to develop the first embroidery design browser
software (Buzz Tools Utilities) for the home
market addressing the needs of a growing community.
This eventually
became Buzz Tools Plus.
The phenomenal success experienced by Buzz
Tools Plus led Lisa to where she is now: President
of one of the leading machine embroidery software
companies in
the world! |

It’s hard to believe we’ve
been in business for ten years (time sure flies
when you’re having fun). In that time, we’ve
developed a reputation worldwide for quality easy-to-use
home embroidery products and we’re proud of it.

Buzz Tools was started out of a personal need. As
a home embroiderer, I got tired of doing the same routines
over
and over
again
just to
convert design file
formats or print design information sheets. Buzz
Tools Plus was the first home embroidery design software
that would print detailed
design catalogs, convert embroidery designs in mass
and launch other manufactures embroidery software.
And Buzz Tools Plus is still the most popular home
embroidery
management software available with over seventy five
thousand users.
Many of our
users wanted a more design management features
and we created BuzzXplore to fill their requests.
BuzzEdit was developed out of my need for an easy
and powerful
editing
tool
for
modifying
and
analyzing
my
designs. Since its inception, BuzzEdit V2 added digitizing
and auto hooping. Our latest program, BuzzSize
provides affordable and reliable
design resizing to our software
line.
