BuzzEdit™ Is...

BuzzEdit™ is a full-featured stitch editor. With it you can change design colors and resize and rotate designs. But that’s just the beginning. The patented Stitches-in-Time™ display* of BuzzEdit™ makes it easy to select different elements of your design, whether the element comprises a complete color break or just a portion of a color break. You can then manipulate the element independently from the rest of the design. You can change the color of elements. Our snazzy Stitches-in-Space tools allow you to move, resize, mirror, rotate and stretch elements in any conceivable way. Our insert and replace stitch tools allow you to insert and move individual stitches. You can cut and paste elements to merge parts of different designs together.

You can use BuzzEdit™ to create designs that span multiple files and multiple hoops. From BuzzEdit™ you will be able to print templates of these designs for positioning in the hoop and on your garment. You can print a summary of your design to assist you in the sewing of these multiple file designs.

BuzzEdit™ Is Not...

BuzzEdit™ is not a digitizing program. It does not allow you to add shapes or letters to your design. You must start with a stitch-based design.

BuzzEdit™ is not a smart resizing program. When you resize a design or part of a design with BuzzEdit, the number of stitches does not change. Therefore you can only safely resize a design by about 10-20%.

What are the System Requirements for BuzzEdit™?

BuzzEdit will run under Windows 95/98/NT 4.0+/2000 or Windows XP.  BuzzEdit also needs a CD-Rom drive; 4 MB disk space; 16 MB RAM; 256 or better display colors; and 600 x 480 or better resolution

Types of BuzzEdit™ Licenses

BuzzEdit™is available with three different licenses:

	BuzzEdit™ is the full-featured program. It retails for $189.95
	BuzzEdit™ Free is fully functional except lacks the ability to save or print a design. BuzzEdit Free can be downloaded from our web site for free. It is primarily intended as a demo of BuzzEdit. However, even without the ability to save your editing changes, our patented Stitches-in-Time display* can be used to analyze your designs in novel ways
	BuzzEdit™ Lite offers a subset of the capabilities of the full version of BuzzEdit™. BuzzEdit™ Lite is available for free to all owners of Buzz Tools Plus. With BuzzEdit™ Lite you can change thread colors and resize, rotate, etc. the entire design or whole color blocks, and of course save these changes. You cannot select only a portion of a color block with BuzzEdit™ Lite. You cannot cut or paste parts of a design with BuzzEdit™ Lite. You cannot edit or view multiple hoop designs with BuzzEdit™ Lite. BuzzEdit™ Lite will allow you to switch back and forth to the Free license to take advantage of all the capabilities of the Stitches-in-Time™ display, although when running with the Free license you will not be able to save your changes.

To get the fully-featured BuzzEdit™ license, you will have to purchase the program from Buzz Tools® or one of our retailers, and receive the full license installation program on a CD.
