for users who are unable to use the new answers database:

file types in the same catalog?

Yes, with Buzz Tools Plus you can choose what combination of design
file types will be included in your catalog.

Buzz Tools displays your design files where they reside on your
hard drive. You do not need to move your designs into a database
of any kind so you do not need to worry about duplicating your designs
on your computer. When you make changes to your design directories
and sub-directories using Explorer, your changes will appear next
time you open your design catalog.
In addition, you can choose what directories and sub directories
to include in your catalog. Buzz Tools Plus prompts you each time
it opens for this information. If you are only interested in Flowers,
you can go directly to your flowers directory and catalog it without
having to read your entire drive of designs.

We will continue to work on and add new formats in the future.
However, Since the Buzz Tools software programs are stand alone
programs, we are unable to update all the software at the same time
with the new formats.

Buzz Tools Plus displays, converts from the ART format and launches
all versions of the Artista. Buzz Tools Plus does not, however,
convert to the ART format. We don't know when conversions to
the ART format will be supported - although we do hope to add it
in the future.

No, Buzz Tools Plus only converts stitched based
design files to other stitch based designs file formats. See
a list of currently supported design formats.

Buzz Tools Plus does not currently support GNC files. This format
is supported (display and convert from GNC to other formats) in
the latest version of BuzzXplore which is a free update
to current BuzzXplore owners. More
