OPTION 1: Automatic Update - Use this option if:

• BuzzEdit is installed on THIS computer.
• AND your BuzzEdit program has a Help > Check for Update option.

To update the program automatically, choose the Check for Update command listed under the Help menu. .

OPTION 2: Manual Update or installation on the same computer with Internet access - Use this option if:

• BuzzEdit is installed on THIS computer and your BuzzEdit program DOES NOT have a Help > Check for Update option.
• OR the "Automatic Update" option fails
• OR you want to install BuzzEdit Lite / Free onto this computer

OPTION 3: Manual Update or installation from a different computer - Use this option if:

• BuzzEdit is installed on another computer that does not have Internet access AND you are able to write CD's or other large format removable media on THIS computer
• OR you want to install BuzzEdit Lite or Free onto another computer that does not have Internet access AND you are able to write CD's or other large format removable media on THIS computer
• If your BuzzEdit is installed on a networked computer, you should also choose this option then transfer the downloaded file before installing.

OPTION 4: Manual Update or installation using ZIP'd Update - Use this option if:

• BuzzEdit is installed on a different computer computer AND you need to write the update files onto 3.5" diskettes
• OR you want to install BuzzEdit Lite or Free onto another computer that does not have Internet access AND you need to write the update files onto 3.5" diskettes
• OR you were directed to this method by Technical Support
