Return Policy

This policy applies only to products purchased directly from Buzz Tools, Inc.  If you did not purchase directly from us, contact your reseller as their return policy may differ.

Software

In keeping with software industry standards, we will gladly accept returns of packaged software within 30 days of purchase in unopened packaging only. Download versions of our software are considered opened at the time of purchase.

There are evaluation versions of most software available via download to anyone interested. This allows all prospective buyers to evaluate the product at their leisure to ensure that the software meets their needs prior to purchasing.

Buzz-2-Stitches Software

The Buzz-2-Stitches does not have an evaluation version available and uses a dongle security device to authorize the software. If you are having trouble with Buzz-2-Stitches, please use the Graphics Trouble Shooter (at end of wizard) and check the Buzz Tools Answers page for possible solutions. Opened Buzz-2-Stitches software may be returned for credit but are subject to a $10 restocking fee. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Equipment

The BuzzBox Embroidery Card Reader / Writer comes with a 30-day money back guarantee and is therefore returnable for a refund even if opened. Return of this product must be in new condition and in the original packaging in order to be returnable. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Return Instructions

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns. To obtain an RMA, email our sales office by replying to your original order confirmation email. This will ensure we have the complete details of your order including the order date and invoice number.

For product returns (unopened packaged versions only except for BuzzBox and Buzz-2-Stitches):

  • Obtain your RMA number using the method described above. We will contact you and email you a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) and a return shipping address.
  • Make a copy of your original invoice and wrap it securely with the unopened software package
  • Write the RMA number on the outside of the shipping envelope or box along with the return address before you mail it to us.
  • To ensure your return is processed smoothly, send the product back using a carrier that has a reliable tracking system (e.g., UPS, Federal Express, Airborne Express). Buzz Tools, Inc. is not responsible for returns lost in the mail.
  • Upon the return of the product, the refund process takes 2-3 weeks. We will process your eligible refund less shipping and restocking fees (if applicable) once we have received and processed the returned item.
