Quick Launch BuzzXplore 4 from Windows Explorer

by Lisa Laufer, President and Founding Partner

Here is a super fast, super easy way to launch BuzzXplore directly from a folder in Windows! On my computer, Windows Explorer is open most of the time because I use it to launch a variety of files and to browse images. However when it comes to embroidery designs, I use BuzzXplore so that the embroidery design images display in beautiful 3-D along with their sewing information.

So here is a little trick I use to quickly open BuzzXplore. In Windows Explorer, just right-click on a folder and choose BuzzXplore from the pop-up context menu. BuzzXplore starts with the selected folders contents displayed. How neat is that!

And this neat little trick goes even further! When you are using another program such as a graphic program or perhaps another embroidery program, you can often launch BuzzXplore directly from their open dialog just by right-clicking on a folder and choosing BuzzXplore from the pop-up context menu! This is a great way to "fast path" into BuzzXplore for some last minute conversions, unzipping or thumbnail graphics capturing.
